For our client, an International Company within the Education Management industry, we are looking for a Senior Policy Analyst to provide senior level advice through monitoring education policy trends, leading figures and thinking, significant legislative developments, education innovations, and major research outcomes globally.

As a Senior Policy Analyst, you will propose recommendations to inform strategic planning, decision-making and programme development and you will be leading a team of three Research Managers, providing them with expert guidance.

Job Requirements:

PhD in education policy, education administration, or a closely related field education field
5 years of previous experience
strong background in educational research methods
capacity for communicating complicated policy analysis
exceptional organization skills
management and supervisory skills and experience with problem analysis and decision making

Job Duties:

Planning: Creates a multi-year plan for education policy research, Identifies appropriate processes and procedures for scanning, monitoring and interpreting major developments and trends on prioritised education issues, innovations and trends
Implementing: Provides continuous insight and expert consultation on education issues/ innovations/ trends
Representing: Works with senior leadership, to produce policy statements, position papers and various written and electronic media
Collaborating: Collaborates with peers and represents the organization on internal committees, working groups, and other collaborations as required
Managing: Line manages three program development research managers
