About the job In this position you are responsible for improving and maintaining the Xpert system. This is a software tool which is used to define tyre specifications. Based on a Catia template, this tool generates the (3D) CAD models of the new tyre.

One of your tasks is to optimize the template structure, manage the versions and foresee possible problems. For this purpose it is important to communicate proactively with the different parties involved, such as product development, FEA/simulations, and product industrialization. Furthermore, you will improve the link with the user interface. As programmer/application engineer you stay in close contact with the users to support them and solve possible problems.

Requirements - Recent hbo/university degree in technical field and demonstrable affinity with IT - (Basic) knowledge of Catia V5 and related programming software - Advanced Excel skills - Fluency in English, German is an advantage - Initiative showing and communicating clearly and convincingly - A good sense of user friendly interfaces - Structured way of working, for example IPO model Important personal characteristics - Attention for details, accurate - Quality conscious - Customer oriented - Flexible - Collegiality
