Our client, an American owned company, is operating in the electronic component redistribution market and they are located in Amstelveen. In overall there are offices and distribution facilities in North America, in Europe and in Asia.

Job description

Your role as an account manager is to drive a mutually beneficial relationship with the customers and be able to quickly read and understand their needs. You are going to generate new sales opportunities and pro-actively grow customer relationships. Communication both with the customer and internally be crucial in driving new sales opportunities. There is travelling required for this position within Europe.

Requirements

• Native German
• Excellent command of English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills & Strong Understanding and ability to promote the brand
• Ability to travel to customers and fairs and promote/sell/negotiate and drive relationships face to face. 
• Set goals for growth
• Ability and willingness to travel (every 6 weeks)• Managing customer escalations by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management
• Providing a Strategic overview of the customers development
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results and team goals

Working conditions

• Working hours: 9:00 – 17:00, however, the candidate needs to be flexible and occasionally stay longer due to overlapping shifts with time zone differences.

• € 3600-4500 + 8% based on 40 working hours
